T cell-engagers (TCEs) are bispecific antibodies that simultaneously target CD3 on T cells and specific antigens on the cell surface to enable T cell-mediated depletion of the target cell. BCMA-targeted T cell-engagers are being investigated as a precision approach for severe inflammatory and autoimmune diseases by eliminating pathogenic B cells and plasma cells. By redirecting a patient’s own T cells towards BCMA-expressing plasma cells, clinical data suggests these agents may reduce inflammation, improve organ function impacted by disease, and in some cases, enable an immune reset marked by durable drug-free remission without ongoing immunosuppression.
Gamgertamig (OM336):
Gamgertamig is a BCMAxCD3 bispecific TCE designed to potentially enable rapid, deep, and durable B cell and plasma cell depletion following a limited subcutaneously administered treatment course. We believe that B cell and plasma cell depleting TCEs could enable a paradigm shift in the treatment of autoimmune diseases from chronic symptom control to potentially durable immune reset. Based on encouraging Phase 1/2 clinical data in >60 patients, a short course of subcutaneous gamgertamig has the potential to show:

Behind our lead program, we are advancing a set of discovery programs targeting additional aspects of B cell biology. These programs probe unique subsets of B cells that may prove key to achieving longer remissions for patients with certain diseases.
